Sigyn x Loki
No offense, but why do you ship Loki/Sigyn? I mean before Loki says she is the only thing in the nine realms he loves, he HATED being bond to her and begged Odin to give him a different punishment. (I honestly don’t know why, Sigyn was really sweet)Anonymous
Yeah, but before that he was the one who meticulously planned to have her as his wife. He showered her with gifts she rejected because she wouldn’t be with a man unless they were married (and she was already betrothed.) And so Loki, strangely for him, schemes huge to have this woman as his wife. And when he changed into Theoric to have her, she comments on how Theoric has been way more affectionate lately and they bond over time before the wedding.
It’s my belief that Loki was super upset and angry and hated being chained to Sigyn because unlike all the other punishments, this one WORKS. It is literally the only time he his exiled/punished person can’t scheme his way out of it or do evil deeds anyway. Because he won’t do anything bad with Sigyn attached to him. Either out of inconvenience, or because he doesn’t want her hurt in the process.
Not to mention, he really only seems awful and mean to her in public. And when they are alone he’s more or less nicer and more doting. Maybe because he doesn’t want her targeted at his weakness? He does have TONS of enemies.
It may or may not have been written that way in the comics at that time, but I think it has room to be interpreted that way. I also really think that her circumstances are really the only ones that would make a relationship with Loki work. A goddess who will never leave him, dotes upon him, and one he does the same and yet goes out of his way to pretend not to in order to protect her.
It’s the only relationship I’ve seen him act with semblances of passion, jealousy, and affection in. Besides maybe his relationship with his family. Sigyn is the only woman to stir him emotionally.EDIT: I was asked by a few people to make this rebloggable!

Deadpool cupcakes! Basically a cupcake I’ve been planning since they announced his game at SDCC.
Fun Fact: The Merc with the mountain of frosting has his very own stack of itty bitty pancakes, topped with a teeny pat of ‘butter’ and ‘maple syrup’. The funniest thing about that is that it took me close to an hour to get the consistency and color of real maple syrup with piping gel, only for some smart guy in my kitchen to go “Why not use real syrup?”
Smart me.
